In our day and age, everyone is out to have something of their own- whether it be a business, a side hustle, a book, a million Instagram followers, a family...we all strive for ownership.
We search countless google articles on the same topics over and over again scouring ways to make our dreams a reality. If we're not scouring articles, then we're watching videos or enrolling in classes to get to that one piece of information that makes us feel better or like we're on the right path.
But that's only half the battle. The truth of the matter is... a lot of us have the momentum to get the ball rolling but sooner or later, day-by-day we end up dropping the ball. It's nothing to be ashamed of...it happens to us ALL (especially if you involve factors like exercising 3 times a week- guilty as charged).
Anyway, eventually, we get to a point where we never reach our desired result or we burn out only to take a break ... pick back up again (months later) ...exactly where we started.
This my friend is where a life coach comes in. If you're one of those people thinking, "What the heck is a life coach and why do I need one?" 100% transparency ...a life coach is a lifetime investment. Your coach is someone who leads you, feeds you (emotionally, intellectually, professionally, & sometimes spiritually), tells you what you need to hear, and pushes you to reach your desired results in life.
In essence, your coach is your forever accountability partner. The person trusted to give you the tools you need to be your own motivator when the going gets tough. The person to give you the boost you need to make your dreams come true...even if it's just to be more organized on a daily basis.
The perks of having a life coach can go on but tackling why you need one is most important. Your coach gives you strategy and addresses the underlying issues within yourself so you can live at your highest standard. Life coaches deal with every layer of your life from personal, to professional, to risk-taking, change management, succession planning- honestly anything you can think of ...your coach is there for you!
In an article by INC. titled "Science says 92 Percent of People Don't Achieve Their Goals. Here's How the Other 8 Percent Do" it points out the stark reality that so many of us hate to face. That reality that most people fall off the dream wagon and most of which sets that 8% apart are: clear goals, commitment, consistency, alignment, and advisors.
So the questions are...Which percentage do you want to be lumped in? And how will you be actionable in accomplishing your dreams?
